BIOGRAPHY & PRACTICE FOCUS

Naphatcha (Ong) has extensive experience in legal advice and litigation for 15 years. Before joining JTJB, Ong worked with Local Law Firm in Bangkok. She has extensive experience in dispute resolution relating to the business case until the court procedure, especially Rehabilitation, Bankruptcy, and commercial issues, including representing the client to negotiate with Commercial Banks or Asset Management to reduce the debt for the client’s case and for the mediation of business case at the court.

In addition, Ong provided consultation to the Shipping and Maritime Global Company in part of the operation for seaman both incoming and departure of the Thai kingdom. She solves the immigration problem for seamen by coordinating, preparing seaman’s documents, and submitting them to the Transit department of the ROYAL THAI POLICE Immigration Bureau.

In the area of intellectual property, Ong has strong expertise and takes the lead in IP disputes, litigation, and IP transactions. She advises clients across all areas of IP law and provides strategic guidance on portfolio management and IP planning. In addition, she has extensive experience conducting IP searches, filing applications, reviewing and refining goods/services specifications, and managing inbound registration matters, including patent and design filings in Thailand.
