Naiyachon has been appointed as our Managing Partner of JTJB International Lawyers since August 2015. He was previously experienced in a leading International law firm, specializing in Dispute Resolution and Arbitration, Shipping & Maritime and Transportation. While his practice has been focused on litigation in the past 15 years, he has a rich practice experience in handling both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Naiyachon has focused in Shipping & Maritime and Transportation practices, Naiyachon’s areas of work include maritime disputes on charterparty claim, demurrage claims, bunker claim, cargo claim, and arrest & release of vessel. Naiyachon has also been involved in a shipping project transactional work such as registration of vessels, flag of ship, logistic and freight forwarder contract, and international trade transaction. He also has handled arbitration case in Thailand and international arbitration e.g. Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), ICC International Court of Arbitration etc.
Naiyachon’s litigation work has generally been in the area of Business and Commercial Dispute in both Local Thai Court and Arbitration especially in construction dispute, shareholder dispute, labour dispute, intellectual property dispute and class action claim as well as trade competition dispute.
For non-litigation matters, Naiyachon has extensive experience in commercial agreement, environmental & regulatory and real estate transaction.
Naiyachon has been appointed to be the Panel of Arbitrators of the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC).
Naiyachon has been ranked as Recommended Lawyer on Transportation Practice by Legal 500 and Distinguished Practitioner on Dispute Resolution by Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2018 – 2021. He was also ranked as Litigation Star on Commercial and Transactions, Shipping, Intellectual Property by Benchmark Litigation 2019 – 2020. Furthermore, Naiyachon is listed in the Thailand Top 100 Lawyers published by Asia Business Law Journal in 2018 – 2020.
In addition, Naiyachon was a legal lecturer in Maritime Law, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Law and Labour Law at Thai International Freight Forwarders Association (TIFFA), Asia Business Connect and some Public Company Limited in Thailand.
Naiyachon obtained LL.B. and LL.M. (International Trade Law) from Thammasat University and he also obtained Barrister-at-Law from Thai Bar Association and Certificate of Specialized Environmental Lawyer from Lawyer Council of Thailand.
Bunnasomboon Chaiparinya (also known as Aaron) is a partner in JTJB International Lawyers Bangkok. Prior to commencing a career in JTJB, Aaron practiced in the corporate department of international law firms in Thailand and Australia. Aaron has substantial experience advising on numerous high-profile M&A in both domestic and international cases. Aaron attended Thammasat University, and upon graduation with a second – class honors in Law, Aaron successfully pursued two master’s degrees in accounting and business administration from one of the top ranked universities in Australia.
Aaron specializes in Corporate M&A practice. Aaron’s notable experiences are as follows:
- Advising a highway engineering company in China on acquisition of a targeted company in Thailand, with THB 1 billion capital registered.
- Acting on behalf of a Chinese energy company in obtaining a foreign business registration number and license, in a bid for the solid waste incineration worth THB 6.7 billion.
- Representing a Chinese subsidiary solar company in the acquisition of 5MW solar farm project worth THB 330 million.
- Acting as legal counsel for a technology & telecommunication company on an artificial intelligence (AI) project worth over THB 30 million.
- Assisting a Chinese-based company in erupting the new mobile phone under the brand “Honor”.
- Acting for a real estate company to conduct due diligence for the acquisition of a hotel worth approximately THB 130 million.
- Advising a lead solar company in conduct of the construction of solar power plants worth approximately USD 22 million.
- Debuting new technology to support the new type of care insurance policy which offers personal and group cashback scheme.
- Assisting a fortune 500 company in the establishment of a business enterprise and obtaining all relevant license to operate a call center in Thailand with over 300 individuals to be employed.
- Assisting a local construction company in relation to the cross-border construction (EPC) of 15 solar power plants located in Laos worth approx. USD 78,000,000.
- Assisting a Chinese-based company in erupting the new mobile phone under the brand “Honor”.
- Assisting a Singapore based company in joint venturing with a gigantic corporation in Thailand.
Aaron was also selected by several of business organizations e.g. Enterprise Singapore and Asia Business Connect to provide legal update and knowledge to the entrepreneurs and in-house counsel of the well-known companies in Thailand and Singapore.
Since January 2018, Kosol has been a valuable partner of JTJB International Lawyers Bangkok. With more than 25 years of substantial experience in supervising and handling a broad range of tax matters for both international and Thai clients, he has represented many clients with legal disputes especially with the Revenue Department concerning the deemed transfer of assets and the recognition of revenue and expenses. Kosol has also extensively assisted clients in disputes with the Customs Department concerning transaction value, customs tariff, smuggling, and restricted goods. He is also specialized in personal data portion.
Before joining JTJB Bangkok, Kosol was also a partner and a senior consultant of several reputable law firms located in Bangkok with the most current role being an independent director of the leading real estate listed company as well.
Pornnarong has over 17 years experiences in litigation practice. Prior joining JTJB, he worked with Local Law Firm in Bangkok, Insurance Company and Real Estate Developer. He has extensive experience on commercial dispute especially insurance dispute, real estate & construction dispute, shareholder dispute, consumer dispute, bankruptcy and family & estate dispute. Apart from the commercial dispute, he also handles the white-collar crime and criminal dispute related the commercial issue.
In addition, Pornnarong also has specialized in administrative and constitutional law issue including regulatory issue. Furthermore, he has strong expertise in providing complex legal analysis on insurance policy. Apart from contentious matter, Pornnarong handles and advice real estate transactional work. In 2019, he was described in Asialaw Profile as “He’s quite informative.”
Pornnarong graduated with LLB and GradDip in Financing Law from Thammasat University. He also obtained Barrister-at-Law from Thai Bar Association.
Yukgrit graduated both LLB and LLM (Master of Business Law) from Thammasat University. Yukgrit’s main areas of practice are company registration, foreign business license, BOI Promotion Certificate and corporate secretarial service. Prior to joining JTJB, he worked for a couple reputable firms.
Poonyawee’s main specializations include company registrations, apply Foreign Business License, apply cosmetic license, trademark registrations and conduct land due diligence. He had abundant experience in the legal field as a paralegal in notable firms.
Kanpimon now adds significant value to the firm. She graduated from Chulalongkorn University, with a Bachelor of Law, and further achieved an LL.M. in International Banking Law and Finance (with Merit) at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. Alongside getting her Attorney License the following year.
Kanpimon’s main practice area are corporate M&A. She supported a number of local and international clients to establishment the legal entity, apply VAT Registration Certificate, and other related business licenses including without limitation to BOI Promotion Certificate.
Warinporn’s main practice focuses in shipping and maritime in both contentious and non-contentious matter. Furthermore, she also handles commercial litigation and general commercial contract. Prior joining JTJB, she was in the field of maritime practice as a marine claim at international maritime consultant company based in Thailand.
Warinporn graduated from Chulalongkorn University, with a Bachelor of Law, and further achieved an LL.M. in Maritime Law with Merit from University of Southampton.
Tanyalak has joined JTJB in 2021 as an associate lawyer in dispute resolution practice group. Tanyalak main practice is dispute resolution focuses on commercial dispute, family dispute and labor dispute. Her practice is also covering to execution of judgement and enforcement of arbitration award in Thailand. Furthermore Tanyalak also specialize in matter of labor law and labor union in Thailand.
Before currently joining, Tanyalak firstly joined JTJB from 2015 until 2017 and worked with local law firm from 2017 to 2021. Tanyalak graduated LLB from Thammasat University and is currently taking course of LLM in Business Law at Thammasat University. Tanyalak also has a license of Labor Union Consultant.
Benjapohn graduated a Bachelor of Law from Thammasart University. After graduation, she joined the interexchange summer work and travel program in USA. Benjapohn’s main practices areas are general corporate, Visa & Work Permit and IP.
Phatsanan is a new member of our corporate team. She has graduated from Thammasart University with Second Class Honors. Phatsanan main practices areas are general corporate and Merger & Acquisition.
Nopparooj is an experienced legal translator who supports both litigation and corporate team. He is extensively and concurrently pursuing Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation at Chulalongkorn University and Bachelor of Law at Ramkhamhaeng University.
